Hafthor Bjornsson, the Icelandic giant, took the Strongman world by storm in 2011 when he became one of the youngest finalists in the history of the World’s Strongest Man championships. After bagging the top three position several times, and becoming the runner-up two years in a row, he finally managed to bag the title for himself in 2018.

However, while trying to secure another powerlifting record for himself, after his huge comeback, the Mountain completely tore his upper chest and went through surgery. After the completion of the surgery, he further had an infection in his pectoral muscle and is still in the process of recovery. But, he recently made an announcement that stunned the bodybuilding community.

Hafthor Bjornsson announces yet another comeback 

Hafthor Bjornsson, widely regarded as the Thor of bodybuilding, recently took to his official Instagram account, @thorbjornsson, and shared a video of himself, making an announcement that sent waves of happiness across the fitness community. He announced his comeback to the professional realm of the sport after his horrific injury.

In the post, the Strongman giant wrote, “Excited to announce that I will be competing at the Arnold Strongman Classic in Columbus Ohio March 1-3 2024 as well as the Arnold UK March 15-17 2024!! Tickets to the show are still available @arnoldsports looking forward to seeing you all there!”

He will finally be appearing in the Arnold Strongman Classic, and well, this is an announcement that the entire fitness community has been waiting for. They showered his post with comments of motivation and congratulated him on the comeback.
