Actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been in the limelight for good or bad reasons. In recent times misleading news about him has led to controversies, like the private jet controversy, often leading him and news outlets to a battle of words. While he has dealt with most of them professionally, sometimes he snaps. A recent instance on Twitter brought out that side of the star after he stumbled upon a questionable headline aimed at his personal beliefs. After making a confession on his views on the afterlife, a news update took a dig at his statement.

According to the source linked by Schwarzenegger, the 78-year-old American actor asked Arnie what the future holds for human beings. The conversation gravitated from drinking water out of bottles to the environmental issues of the earth. ‘What do you think, in terms of our species? Are we going to last? Tell me, oh great leader,” Devito asked.

This is when the statement that sparked the controversy came across. Arnie laughingly recalled talking to TV star, Howard Stern on a similar matter. “Tell me, governor, what happens to us when we die?” Stern asked, as per the interview. Thus, the Austrian Oak replied with an amusing response saying, “Nothing. You’re 6 feet under. Anyone that tells you something else is a fuc**ng liar.”

As a matter of fact, the star athlete never commented on his belief in heaven’s existence. Rather he admitted that he is not an expert on the matter, hence, he doesn’t know much about it. The manipulation of his statement into a forceful conclusion about him bothered Arnie to a great extent, thus, encouraging the condemnation.
