The CEO of Gym Positivity, Joey Swoll, recently shared a heartwarming incident that happened with him in the gym on Valentine’s Day. As he was about to finish his cardio, a woman came up to him, while he was on the treadmill. She looked very nervous and also apologized for bothering him in between his workouts.

Joey Swoll, who himself was down because he had no valentine, consoled her and said that she did not have to hesitate to come and say hi to him. As he asked her name, she began to cry and told him that he was the reason she was fit. Well, he then narrated the whole story. Here’s how Swoll managed to save another life! 

Joey Swoll inspired Nancy to hit the gym

On seeing Nancy cry, Joey Swoll jumped off the treadmill and hugged her as tightly as he could. He wrote, “It was Nancy and she then began to cry as she said to me, “You’re the reason I’m here”. He then added that she was not as fit as she used to be after having two kids.

She could not come to the gym either because she was afraid that people would judge her and make fun of her. However, after watching Joey Swoll’s videos, knowing that there were many people like him, gave her the courage to hit the gym. He wrote, “I told her how brave she was and how so many people out there, both men and women, have the same fear she has.”

Well, this incident was not just an overwhelming one for Nancy, but it also deeply touched the bodybuilder himself. Given that he was already having an awful day, receiving a compliment was all that he needed to cheer up!

Nancy made Joey Swoll’s Valentine’s Day better

Joey Swoll spent a few minutes talking to Nancy and as she showed him pictures of his husband and the two kids, Swoll mentioned how incredible it made him feel that his videos were successful in serving the main purpose. He wrote, Nancy, it means SO MUCH to know my videos have purpose and help you overcome your fear.”
