Filming someone working out as well as filming somebody secretly is unethical. Several people think that it should be banned and among them is the champion bodybuilding influencer Joey Swoll. Taking their video or a selfie in the gym is fine but taking somebody?s video without consent and making fun of them is where the toxic gym culture starts.

Swoll yet again calls out a professional swimmer for making fun of a young boy in one of her Instagram videos. He also seemed to be very frustrated and disappointed by the woman?s behavior and posted about her on Twitter.

Joey Swoll calls out competitive swimmer for mocking young boy at the gym

In a recent tweet, the famous fitness influencer shared a video with the caption ?Making fun of a kid at the gym trying his best? We ALL start somewhere. #MYOB?. In the video, Nika Godun, a professional swimmer, could be seen giggling and laughing while filming a young boy who was unaware of being recorded. The boy, attempting to perform pull-ups, displayed incorrect technique and form due to his young age and novice status. The woman proceeded to mock and laugh at him.

After watching the Instagram video Swoll was enraged and disappointed. He said, ?The arrogant laugh as you film that kid to make fun of him is so sad, so disappointing to see.? The ‘CEO of Gym Positivity? also added, ?Does he have a bad form? Yes! It?s just a kid.?

Joey further stated, ?In a situation like that, you have two options, you can politely approach him and ask him if he?d like some help, then teach the young man to show him what food form is. Or you can mind your own business?. He called her out and further stated ?And you?re a professional athlete! You should know better and I dm’ed you to tell you that!?. Finally, he said in a dejected manner ?You need to do better!?

Joey Swoll takes a stand against disrespectful behavior:

Joey does not stop when it comes to calling out disrespectful behavior. He has also called out another person filming an obese lady and making fun of her. The person in the video was making fun of a woman and saying that her arm has 60 cm biceps.

Swoll was shocked to see the number of likes in the video and frustrated. He only encourages a positive gym environment and a healthy relationship in the gym.
