During the conversation about the possible winners, there was an argument about who among Samson Dauda, Derek Lunsford, and Hadi Choopan would win Mr Olympia. The Serbian coach was of a strong opinion that Dauda would be the one winning.

Sarcev said, “Are you serious? He was in a league of his own…He was not even comparable,” while Chris Cormier replied, “ Don’t get emotional this is objective…” The Serbian coach then replied, “There was no finger in the wrong position…I can sign off before you reach…” He was convinced that The Nigerian Lion deserved to win the competition. He said, “He was above and beyond; each mandatory pose he hit perfectly,” Sarcev also said that he was the, “Best bodybuilder on the stage yesterday and tonight is gonna be Samson Dauda.”

Dorian Yates disagreed with this and said, “It’s a matter of opinion, I wouldn’t agree with you on this point.” According to him, the others were also capable, especially Choopan, with his conditioning. Sarcev compared Yates’ conditioning in 1994 and 1997 with Dauda’s and concluded that even if he was not perfectly conditioned according to his personal best, he was better than the others. The Serbian pro was pretty heated in his argument about Dauda. Unfortunately, Dauda did not win the title.
