Bodybuilding icon Arnold Schwarzenegger exudes confidence and strength even at 76. Immense hunger and passion helped the 7x Mr. Olympia achieve unimaginable success in multiple fields. Moreover, the action hero has always displayed aesthetic muscularity throughout his career. However, behind the scenes, the Terminator fought grave health challenges. Schwarzenegger went through three heart surgeries amidst his hectic schedule. One was just during the Terminator 6. A botched-up surgery put Arnie at risk. And when he rose from the ashes like a phoenix, it was nothing less than the scene from an iconic movie.

In Arnold’s Pump Yourself Up guide, Schwarzenegger spoke about overcoming challenges. He gave the example of his heart surgery that went horribly wrong. However, the “Fubar” actor bounced back with family cheering on, like in a scene from the Rocky franchise worth 1.7 billion.

This scene became synonymous with success and hard work. Furthermore, the rising score of the background music fills the heart with hope.

Remembering the historical scene, Arnie said, “I told one of my friends to write “Walks” on the board. We did tally marks for that. And the walks got longer. I made it up the hallway twice with the walker. Then I made it up the hallway and all the way around the nursing station, with my friends and family walking with me and cheering me on like a really screwed-up version of the scene from Rocky.”Although the rendition was emerging from the hospital hallway, it was still an achievement for the action superstar.
