Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger’s eldest son previously opened up about his fear of a wild beast, which also happens to be his spirit animal. Appearing on a podcast once, Patrick and his mother, Maria Shriver, candidly chatted about their spirit animals and more. Therefore, while Maria claimed horses resonated with her spirit, Patrick explained the Great White Shark as his version.

Patrick does have a crippling fear of them and wouldn’t even go in the ocean for the same reasons. Speaking of fears, the actor recently expressed his displeasure about another animal on Instagram.

The 29-year-old actor shared an interesting update on Instagram, displaying a fake Python snake lying on the sidewalk. The sight left the Staircase actor in terror, as he perceived it to be a real serpent slithering into human dwellings. However, he soon found out that it was only a soft toy and that someone staged it on purpose.

“Man this scared the sh*t out of me. Whoever left this here…no cool,” Patrick expressed his displeasure in the Instagram story. While it was a hilarious prank pulled on random people walking on the sidewalks, Patrick was irked. He can also be heard saying in the brief snippet he shared, “Man it scared me!”

Patrick Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver reveal their spirit animals

Guest starring on the podcast hosted by actor Taylor Lautner and his wife, Taylor Dome, who is also a nurse, the mother-son duo picked up chits and asked them about their spirit animals. Patrick marked sharks, particularly the Great White Shark, as his, whereas Shriver revealed that a horse’s spirit matches her energy since they are party animals.

However, Patrick had additional insight into his answer. “I’m terrified but it’s my spirit animal… crippling of, I can’t even go in the ocean,” he said. While it is not uncommon for people to be phobic of sharks, it has been reported that Great White sharks seldom attack humans.
