Arnold Schwarzenegger took to bodybuilding at 15 years of age, though he quit professional bodybuilding in 1980, bodybuilding never left him. At 75 years he still hits the gym daily and trains hard despite multiple heart surgeries. He also contributes actively to the fitness community by sharing his knowledge of the sport through his newsletter. Now, the Governator shared a new workout video on his social media but with a twist.

The Austrian Oak was up to some flexibility workout in his recent post on Instagram. It went viral with over half a million likes and thousands of comments within 12 hours. While many celebrated the aura of the Pumping Iron star, a few fans were heartbroken to see their favorite actor getting old.

The 7x Mr. Olympia champion was seen stretching in his recent video while seated on a table in his house. With a cigar in his mouth, the action hero managed to sit with his legs widely stretched as he tried to touch his toes on either side. Once he completed one rep, he exclaimed, “I’m really proud of myself.”

But the viewers were shocked to see that the Governator pranked them as the stretched legs were dummies, and Arnie was standing behind them, projecting as if he stretched his legs for real. The ‘Predator’ star captioned the post, “Mobility and flexibility are so important to me.”

He further promoted his newsletter by adding, “Subscribe to the Pump Club at the link in my bio for more tips and tricks.” While his new followers were tricked by their favorite actor, many recalled that it was an old video that the Terminator reposted on his Instagram.

Fans, however, noticed their young hero of yesteryears was sporting an aged look in the video and were upset about the same. A fan was disheartened about Arnie’s look and commented, “Sad to see your hero’s aging.” It started a thread of comments where many added a positive aspect to the comment. A follower replied to the remark asserting, “But he will leave a lasting legacy.”

 

While another fan noted, “He’s 75 and in better shape than most 20-30 year olds.” Also, while agreeing to the comment, a fan added his great perspective, “His story and legacy of accomplishment will never age.” Appreciating the stylish aura of the Governator, a follower commented, “2 heart operations still sucking on those cigars u are the king.”

Recently, Arnold revealed his goals and vision for the coming five years in his newsletter. “I said to someone that my fourth phase is all of my first three phases combined,” he revealed about being vocal about his next endeavors in life. Such is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s vision toward life, to never stop working.
