Entering the gym weighing over 400 pounds presented a formidable challenge as he confronted the risks of potential injury and the scrutiny of others. At the age of 30, he struggled with the disappointment of letting himself become obese. “I was embarrassed I didn’t know what I was doing in the gym as a 30-year-old man,” said Danna, when asked how his pump workouts were going.

Consequently, this became a pivotal moment in his fitness journey, enabling him to confidently pursue strength training. “I was extremely disappointed that I had let myself get so obese,” Danna admitted.
Danna’s gym experience and the tips given by the bodybuilding legend provided to him through his newsletter helped him lose 100 lbs. This boosted his confidence and allowed him to make significant progress in his strength training journey as well. As a result, Danna has,” done over 1,200 reps and lifted over 80,000lbs so far.”

Initially, Danna focused on cardio exercises for over seven months, demonstrating unwavering dedication that eventually pushed him out of his comfort zone. Resolute in his goal to develop physical strength while also losing weight, he transitioned to the Pump workout series. Danna declared, “I’m not just on a weight loss journey, I’m on a health journey and I want to make sure I build my physical strength and my mental strength as I lose the 200+ pounds in total weight I need to lose.”
