Legends like Ronnie Coleman, who was known for their insane lifts, also once admitted that even though one can improve and work on their strength, at the end of the day, genetics also play a crucial role in a person’s strength. Talking along the same lines, four times Mr. Universe Mike O’Hearn has made an exciting revelation about the same.
In his latest YouTube video, the bodybuilding veteran could be seen training in the gym along with his friends. During the training session, Mike O’Hearn discussed the correlation of strength with the way an individual looks. But what did O’Hearn actually say? Let’s take a look.

‘Titan’ has been lifting for more than three decades now. With enough experience and knowledge under his belt, Mike explained that even though there is a myth that muscular people can lift heavy, it is far from the truth. Explaining his point, he quoted the legendary bodybuilder and powerlifter Franco Columbu and explained that despite creating countless records, Columbu admitted that muscles have nothing to do with the strength of an athlete.
O’Hearn stated, “Most people are told they can’t do both. Which shows how strong they are mentally. Listen, people like Franco already said it was not true. Stan Efferding also shows it. Robbie shows it. To tell you the truth, seems to be the ones that last longer instead of the guys that just go for the PR.”
