Bodybuilding pros are expected to be extremely strong mentally and physically. And people often think they might not have any sickness. Seeing a muscular hunk who looks like Hercules falling sick or vomiting might take people back. However, since bodybuilders have extremely intense workouts and diets, sickness can also hit them up like any other person. Derek Lunsford, the Men’s 212 champion and 2022 Mr. Olympia runner-up, showed signs of sickness while training.

After losing to Hadi Choopan last year, he has constantly shown the signs of a strong athlete with a powerful mindset. However, Lunsford is also human and recently felt sick during an intense workout session.

The Mr. Olympia 2023 contender exercised and trained his legs in an Instagram video that @bodybuildingworldonline uploaded. However, due to an unknown reason and an intense workout regime, he was seen throwing up inside a huge black barrel. Fortunately, he was not alone, and Hany Rambod was there to help him.

The post was captioned, “@dereklunsford_ hit that puke after a leg workout with @hanyrambod using their famous FST7 method.” The FST7 method, also known as fascia stretch training, is a principle of training created by Rambod and designed to provide an intense muscle pump. The basic idea behind this training is that the final set of specific exercises will be performed for seven sets to target a body part that the bodybuilder wants to grow. So clearly, it is going to be an extremely intense workout, especially when the bodybuilder is already tired.

What is the FST7 workout?
