Former Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger always treated money as secondary. So much so that he even rejected his grand pay of $187,000, the highest among all governors, during his tenure and used it for a noble cause instead. Presently, he is on his entrepreneurial streak as his newsletter family, Arnold’s Pump Club, is steadily growing into a greater fanbase. However, as the community expands, it gets difficult to maintain the endeavor to keep up to its full potential. Therefore, in the recent edition of his newsletter the star athlete announced that his 431k subscribers shall soon see ads within the content.

Moreover, Schwarzenegger reasoned the fresh addition to being a profitable effort for his team. Although, he also assured that the ads would not contain any kind of misleading or questionable context or information.

According to the source, the 75-year-old pro explained the training order of cardio and weights training, following which a brief “Note from Arnold” on the matter was provided at the end. He claimed that he and his team always prioritize being “transparent” with his community, and address any issue or effort that might affect them.

Therefore, rather than simply forcing his subscribers to stumble upon the ads, The Austrian Oak mindfully decided to inform them about the same. “You’re going to start seeing ads here. You might ask why,” the IFBB pro added. He explained that as the “village” gets bigger, even the related expenses increase, given his big team of professionals doing all the work.

Hence, Schwarzenegger revealed, “I want my team to make money from it.” Besides that, he also emphasized the importance of featuring no irrelevant or ambiguous ads ever, keeping the best interests of the community in mind. “but we wanted you to know that you will start to see some advertising from companies who feel like organic partnerships and can add value to your life,” Arnie wrote in the newsletter. In contrast to his money-making ideology, the former politician once refused to take his governor’s salary.

As per a report by Inc., it was once brought to light that the 38th Governor of California, Schwarzenegger, had the highest remuneration among all the governors, that is, $187,000 later adding up to $206,500. Regardless, he denied taking it, calling it “petty cash.” He didn’t mind donating most of it to charities and also during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He donated $1 million as assistance funds for the front-end employees during the unfortunate times. Moreover, during his tenure as the Governor, he tried to resolve persistent issues like greenhouse and climate change, minimum wages, and more.
