4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler ended the winning streak of one the greatest bodybuilders of all time- the King, Ronnie Coleman! Earlier, the Quad Stomper shared an onstage throwback video where the rivals engaged in a friendly display of raw strength. Followers of the magnificent bodybuilders flocked to the comment section to revel in the bygone era.

Earlier, taking to Twitter, the Comeback hero posted a video captioned “The greatest rivalry”. In the video snippet, the two mass monsters touch each other’s thighs, checking out the conditioned muscles. In the background, the audience gives them a loud cheer. Both the icons were famous for their leg developments, adding a monstrous look to their aesthetic physique. Coleman’s well-defined lower body helped him win eight Mr Olympia championships (1998-2005). However, 2006 became the decisive year that would mark the exit of the King from the bodybuilding arena forever. 

All in all, Cutler dethroned Coleman with his dogged approach and positive outlook. Although Ronnie was hopeful of winning the 9th title as well, his dreams ended. Despite losing, the king held Cutler in high regard, even saying he “had the pleasure of meeting one of the best bodybuilders in the history of the sport.”

However, Coleman never accepted the 2006 verdict, claiming that the decision was “predetermined.” The 8x champion opined that the organizers wanted to shake things up“So that the sport would once again be competitive and garner a lot more audience,” argued Coleman in his autobiography ‘Yeah Buddy!: My Incredible Story.’ This debate may rage on forever. Nonetheless, it gives fans a chance to celebrate their favorites in the Battle of Titans. The Twitter post witnessed something similar.
