Water is extremely important for proper hydration and a lot of other things. But too much of anything can cause harm and that is exactly what Ryan Marino was concerned about when he heard Chris Pratt?s confession of having an intense water diet. The actor who plays Peter Quill in the 2-billion-dollar ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, franchise, went through a huge transformation through bodybuilding?and extreme diets.

Now that the movie is back in 2023, people have again started speculating on Pratt?s preparation routines and dietary regime. In a Twitter post, Ryan, who is not only an MD but also an expert in Toxicology, explained the downsides of drinking too much water, in this case, 220 glasses!

The 44-year-old actor had documented his dramatic fitness transformation while making a transition from a ‘Parks and Recreation’ comedy role to the hunk superhero Star-Lord. As a part of the strict training regime, he allegedly drank 220 glasses of water per day according to the book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, published last week in Vanity Fair.

Pratt also admitted, ?I was peeing all day long, every day. That part was a nightmare” However, the information about the glasses of water is not completely correct because in 2014 Men?s Fitness (now Men?s Journal) noted that Pratt drank ?one ounce for every pound he weighed,? and this is proper to what health experts recommend. According to this new information, the author of the new book said that they would fix the information.

However, if someone were to truly drink 220 glasses of water, as per Ryan it would cause water poisoning. He captioned the Twitter post saying, ?Hi! Poisoning doctor here! This is not possible and is literally how you get water poisoning, which is really, dangerous to do cause it?s bad. He did not do this, and you should not do this, too!? Doctors recommend 3.7 liters of water for men and 2.7 liters for women according to Medical News Today. Chris Pratt changed his water weight as well for the billion-dollar franchise.
