The 4-time Natural Universe winner had sat down with the 8-time?Mr. Olympia winner once to discuss his career. The things Ronnie Coleman said during the Arnold 2018 interview will last for a long time.

Mike O?Hearn agrees to Coleman?s idea of a positive attitude

The interview that happened in 2018 was all about Coleman?s career and the major surgeries he underwent. The interview was recorded a few days before Coleman?s corrective surgery, which was successful on March 8, 2018. Mike was excited about the interview and felt like a giddy teenager again. ?The Hall of Fame achiever spoke about losing his mother and also going through his surgeries, which was hectic for him. However, in that hardship, he had a positive attitude. O?Hearn encouraged him, saying that the world loved him. Coleman also recalled that in 1997, with all the hardships he even planned on quitting bodybuilding. He said, ?That only way to be you know.? O?Hearn replied, ?The positive attitude?? Coleman continued, ?Yeah if you ain?t got a positive attitude in this lifetime ain?t no need to stand here you know.? The police officer turned bodybuilding icon and then took advice from his girlfriend which helped him.

The King narrated how his outlook changed after what his girlfriend said ?She was right. You got a point there. Quit or don?t win and stick with it and win the Olympia next year.? Coleman did not find success directly?after turning pro in 1991. It took 6 years for him to find the pinnacle he wanted. However, due to a positive attitude, he overcame all his obstacles. Mike O?Hearn might have been excited about meeting Coleman, but he was a true fan of Arnold from his heart.

In a previous Q&A video posted on his YouTube channel, O?Hearn’s fan, expressed his curiosity and asked the Titan who his favorite bodybuilder was among Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronnie Coleman. Without missing a beat he said, ?Arnold all the way around for everything “.

He had recalled his initial days in California and before getting discovered by Joe Weider, Mike said, ?When I moved to California, I used to have Arnold pictures throughout the whole front of my pickup truck just to motivate me to go to the gym every day and in everyday life.?? His admiration for the legend is unparalleled and he further added, ?I?ve been able to work with Arnold and travel with him to give lectures to demonstrate exercises while he was talking about it. It?s great to say that I?ve gotten to work with him and spend time with him.??
