Quinton Eriya is among the few bodybuilders in the sport who have switched divisions in recent times. Back in 2022, Eriya surprised bodybuilding enthusiasts with his exceptional physique and unique genetics. Since then, he has been on a break to put on more muscle and compete in the open division. But little did he know that things would go south.

Eriya competed at the New York Pro alongside Nick Walker and finished sixth. Both athletes trained under the same coach, and one lifted the title while the other couldn’t even make it to the top five. After the show, Eriya parted ways with Walker’s coach and is now training himself for the next show. As the Toronto Pro approaches, Eriya has now dropped a physique update, hinting at the fact that his self-coaching was working.

Eriya posted a series of images on his Instagram account, doing some striking poses. He started with the front double biceps pose, showcasing the development of his enormous biceps. The vascularity on his biceps and forearms seemed to have improved since his last appearance on stage. Not only this, but Eriya’s abs have improved the most, with the conditioning being next level.

The next pose the bodybuilder did was the front lat spread, and there was a significant difference in his lats. In the latest updates, his lats looked broader, while his waist looked smaller. When Eriya engaged in the side chest pose, the striations on his chest looked insane.

The last pose Eriya did was the rear lat spread showcasing his gigantic back. Hinting at his confidence about winning the Toronto Pro in five days, he wrote, “BIG BEASTWOOD on the way!!” Fans, on the other hand, are excited to see him back on the stage and showcase his crazy improvements.

Eriya’s self-training impresses fans

Just like in 2022, Eriya is feeling very confident about his next show, and his improvements even caught the attention of five-time Mr. Olympia, Chris Bumstead’s brother-in-law. Ian Valliere seemed pretty impressed by Eriya’s improvements and took to the comment box to write, “Great improvements. Fullness difference looks awesome.” As the bodybuilder didn’t secure a good position at the New York Pro and made such astonishing changes in his physique in such a short time, one fan wrote, “Bro took it personally and wasn’t backing down.”
