In a recent video uploaded by the Masterthegym YouTube channel, Quad’s father can be seen talking a secret to get the cross-striated quads. Giving a hack to attain the strongest legs, he brought up how chickens walk around with efficiency and do a lot of endurance work. “Chicken walks around the farm all day, Make noises and stuff. Chickens have real skinny legs.”

Here, even while joking, he stressed the fact that the endurance done by the chickens did not seem to reflect on their “skinny legs.” However, despite not being able to fly, they continue in their attempt to attain flight and engage in “heavy explosive movements” According to Platz, because of this, their breasts get bulky. Platz uses this as an analogy to reveal the fact that resistance plays a vital role in getting more mass and bulk. According to him, a balance of both kinds of techniques will help bodybuilders attain their body goals.

Platz’s love for leg development has never died down and this might be the reason why. This was further visible in an earlier post from him where he showcased himself in intense training, even at this age.
