Israetel also claimed that this exercise was not strictly for bodybuilders to follow. He stated, “It is not bodybuilding training. Cause bodybuilding is to get a speedo on and go up on stage and flex your muscles.” Instead, he argued that this training process was for both regular people as well as powerlifters and bodybuilders.
Michael Israetel often rates bodybuilders as well. In what might come as a surprise as many, despite agreeing with Chris Bumstead’s supremacy, Israetel took on the task of rating the five-time Mr. Olympia winner as well.

In one of his videos, Israetel said how difficult it was to rate anyone who has been able to achieve Mr. Olympia’s title. However, the expert goes on to state, “I’m not grading his physique which to me is a 12 out of 10, it’s revolutionary. It’s, um, changing the structure of our sport literally.” Then he added to his statement, “This training I would give an 8.5 out of 10.”
Michael Israetel’s claims of hypertrophy being an exercise for both regular and powerlifting professional athletes truly bridge the gap between the two levels of fitness enthusiasts.
