Thanks to his illustrious bodybuilding and Hollywood career, Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger has enjoyed all the success imaginable seven times. However, after being elected as the 38th governor of California, if there is anything in this world that Schwarzenegger was denied, it is the chance to run for president of America.

Being born in a small village in Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger always dreamed of stepping on American soil. The movies and magazines painted a picture so beautiful in his mind that his only goal in life was to live the American dream. Despite success in every realm that he stepped into, he could not run for president of America.

While this was hard to accept initially, Schwarzenegger had to make peace with it eventually. As it turns out, Schwarzenegger appears unaffected by this now, as he talked about the same during an episode of the Graham Norton Show.

Schwarzenegger had the perfect game plan in his mind during his teenage years. He did everything according to a pre-established plan, and things started to get better for ‘The Austrian Oak.’ However, the Constitution of America does not allow anyone who isn’t born in America to run for president. This is why the Austrian bodybuilding legend could not fulfill his dream.

With time, though, Schwarzenegger has changed his mind. His only intention at this point is to help the country grow and improve. “To me, everything that I’ve accomplished is because of America. And so I am not going to go and worry about the one job I can’t do, which is to run for president,” he stated.

Despite once claiming that he would be an amazing President, Arnold Schwarzenegger pointed out that he is a public servant whose only job is to take care of the nation and contribute to its growth. “I will always be there because to me, my goal now is to make life better for people to make the world a better place a safer place…so I don’t need to be president. I’m perfectly fine with that,” Schwarzenegger further stated.
