Fitness influencer and bodybuilding coach Sean Nalewanyj calmly dismantled the argument of a man who insulted people who go to the gym. The man argued that he felt “tired” of people who said they needed to go to the gym to get fit. Surprisingly, the man didn’t diss gymgoers because he had a better alternative for it. Instead, he called going to the gym a terrible financial decision.

According to the man, people who “pull up to the gym making less than $10k,” while driving a Corolla should focus on making money. The man added that he would look far more impressive driving anywhere in his McLaren, regardless of his fitness or physique. “You’re f**king stupid,” said the man. However, Sean Nalewanyj dismantled the bizarre argument with logic.

The man thought that owning a supercar and being richer would get him everything. However, Nalewanyj explained how this person had some “pretty serious delusions,” because money can’t buy fitness and longevity. Nalewanyj has helped countless people through his fitness advice and knows that sticking to extreme worldviews is not beneficial.

The fitness influencer said that being the person “whose entire identity revolves around the gym,” isn’t the wise choice. Neither is it wise to scrap every last ounce of your monthly savings and put it into buying supplements. However, obsessing over money and ignoring fitness isn’t a wise move either.

Sean Nalewanyj said that while deciding between pursuing fitness and making money, you should do both. However, since the man called gymgoers stupid, Sean Nalewanyj also snuck in a cheeky jibe. Nalewanyj said that although the man was at least “partially” trolling, he deserved to get “trolled back” for his hot take. This isn’t the first time Nalewanyj has dismantled hot takes.

The fitness influencer sets the record straight on protein powder

Just like the man in the video discouraging gym-goers, another fitness influencer had earlier villainized protein powder. However, Sean Nalewanyj countered the argument with facts. While the fitness influencer said protein power wasn’t necessary, he said it was a convenient way to meet your protein goals. 

The man also discouraged people from having whey protein because it was processed. However, the fitness coach saw no issues and said that not all processed foods are bad. Yet, the bodybuilder didn’t support companies claiming that protein powers are a “magical” solution to your protein problems. According to the fitness coach, whey protein is a supplement and should be treated as such, instead of vilifying it.
