Fitness influencer and bodybuilding coach Joey Swoll has yet again helped a fitness enthusiast seek justice. After building a reputation of holding those who harass or misbehave with others in the gym accountable, Swoll helped out a US Navy serviceman who became the victim of questionable behavior. After calling out a gym goer for her accusing the man without proof, Swoll released a follow-up video.

In his following video, the bodybuilder explained that the fitness enthusiast had wrongly accused the US Navy serviceman. The woman in the video claimed she spotted the man taking her photograph without permission while reviewing her workout footage. However, Swoll explained that the man had done no such thing, and the events had escalated further after his first video.

Joey Swoll revealed how the events unfolded 

In her original video, she threatened to physically harm the man if she saw the footage while they were in the gym. The gymgoer had also labeled the man “a predator.” However, Swoll explained that her reckless accusations turned into a boomerang of consequences. The bodybuilder explained that after watching his callout video, a friend of the man reached out to him.

The bodybuilder said that hearing the woman accuse him of such an act upset the man and his wife. The CEO of Gym Positivity said that while the woman said he took a picture of her for “Snapchat,” the man didn’t have Snapchat or Instagram on his smartphone. The fitness influencer explained that the man might have been using face unlock on his iPhone.

While people sometimes misjudge others, the accusations and threats she made landed her in trouble. Swoll contacted her gym, and they revoked the woman’s membership. The gym, Chuze Fitness, offered the man a free membership. The bodybuilding coach also offered the man legal help if he wished to press charges against the woman.

The online fitness community was just as furious about the incident as the bodybuilding coach. They even encouraged the man to take action.

Apologies are just words,” said one follower after Joey Swoll suggested the man press charges if she didn’t apologize. “Hope the guy reaches out to your lawyers,” wished another fan. “Too many people with main character syndrome are out there nowadays!” commented one follower.

While the man hasn’t decided to take up Joey Swoll’s offer yet, it’s safe to say that the fitness influencer has helped another person feel safe in the gym.
