Gold’s gym, considered the “mecca of bodybuilding” rose to fame in the 1970s. Many famous bodybuilders frequented the gym for its focus on hardcore training and no-nonsense approach. Furthermore, the gym became the center of attraction in the docudrama Pumping Iron released in 1977. Bodybuilders Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, Franco Columbu, Jay Cutler, and many more, chiseled their bodies to perfection on these revered grounds.

The popularity of the gym further grew because of the star power attached to it. The iconic place continues to attract very successful athletes. Recently, Jay Cutler appeared on a podcast and reminisced about the time spent crafting his body in the gym. The CEO of Cutler Nutrition would spend hours in the gym, perfecting each muscle.

Earlier, Jay Cutler and Manager Matt sat down with Christian Guzman, a 30-year-old fitness influencer on the 86th episode of Cutler Cast, to talk about various fitness issues. Furthermore, the Quad Stomper arrived on the topic of the Alphalete Athletics owned by Guzman. Cutler said, “… It seems like you know when Ronnie showed up there and I see you know Jesse and all these people that come out there and I’m like, man, I wonder if I could ever walk in that gym and actually work.” To this, the fitness influencer added that Cutler could always work out at his private gym with a basketball court. 

The Comeback Kid, undergoing a Fit For 50 challenge, had great things to say regarding the Alphalete Athletics. He compared it with the iconic Gold’s Gym. Cutler further added, “I just see it as you know a place where it’s like man, like people would spend hours on end like when I used to go to Gold’s Gym Venice back in the daylight that was like the place right I would spend like six hours there..”

The social media icon with 1 million followers on Instagram replied that he is envisioning a gym where nineteen-year-old can come and work on their fitness. Guzman has a strong connection to bodybuilding and Jay Cutler. The 4x Mr. Olympia champion has taken Guzman under his wings to train him for bodybuilding competitions.

Christian Guzman has taken the fitness world by storm

The young fitness YouTuber with an incredibly jacked physique is eyeing an IFBB pro title. Recently, Cutler took to Instagram and shared his training snaps. The bodybuilder added, “The job is never done. Everyone applaud @christianguzmanfitness for this weekends Mr USA 🇺🇸 @musclecontest @npcnewsonlineofficialpage.”

The promising entrepreneur was once a skinny lad. Moreover, he took to bodybuilding to improve his physique and get a ripped look. Once Guzman became confident in his skin, he posted his transformation snaps. He also shared training and nutrition tips that garnered a loyal fan base.
