Harbour openly confessed that he has no desire to maintain visible abs consistently. Instead, he expressed his preference for having a robust and muscular physique, embracing his identity as a ‘thick man’ rather than striving for a perpetually shredded appearance.
Harbour went on to express his opinion, going as far as describing individuals with consistently shredded physiques as “insane.” According to him, achieving and maintaining a chiselled physique requires strict discipline in terms of food intake, as those individuals have to significantly reduce their food consumption.“These people that constantly have a 6 pack, it’s like insane. Like you don’t get to eat a candy bar or whatever”, he said in the video.
However, the stranger things star has chosen to prioritize living his life to the fullest and enjoying the pleasures of food. He emphasized that he is currently bigger and can go back and forth between different body types. However, the actor has also shared some insights into his weight loss and bodybuilding journey.
The secret behind Harbour’s transformation
Harbour revealed that during the filming of season three, he weighed around 270 pounds. However, by the time he returned for season four, he had dropped down to approximately 190 pounds. While the process may appear complicated and difficult to achieve, the approach was quite simple.
