A recent video on Instagram depicts the sad tale of the bodybuilding legend.

The 8x Mr. Olympia trained like a beast while competing in the bodybuilding competitions. He lifted unfathomable weights in the gym to build a monster-like physique. His rigorous training regimen fetched him 8 Sandow trophies. However, he neglected his back pain for ages.

So, after retiring from competitive bodybuilding, he started his treatment process to cure his backache. However, fate had other plans for the bodybuilding beast, as he ended up in a wheelchair after 13 surgeries. Now, in his late 50s, he trains with light weights. The video depicts Coleman training with light weights as a 58-year-old and heavy weights as a 36-year-old. Fans added their perspective to the video in the comments.

Ronnie Coleman started stem cell therapy to cure his health issues last year. He revealed the same while speaking with Giles Thomas. The initial phase of the procedure included two sessions every four months, and the bodybuilding legend witnessed improved health conditions.

But The King assumed, he won’t need any more therapy and stopped the procedure for nine months. It revamped the pain, and he described his condition and said, “I was in so much pain I couldn’t even sleep at night.” So, he started his stem cell therapy again.
