2023 is turning out to be a massive year for Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 75-year-old began the year by starting his newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club. Later, he dropped the trailer for his upcoming Netflix series FUBAR through the newsletter. Schwarzenegger surprised his fans and gave them exclusive access to the trailer a day before Netflix released the official trailer. Now, the seven-time Mr. Olympia has made another huge announcement that no one saw coming.

As people are gearing up for the May 25 release date of FUBAR, earlier, the bodybuilding icon announced his upcoming documentary series. Like FUBAR, the documentary, titled Arnold, is also a Netflix exclusive, releasing on June 7.

The Hollywood action icon uploaded the official poster of the upcoming Netflix series on Instagram. The three-part exclusive series will explore the three phases of Schwarzenegger’s life. The three parts will be “Arnold as an athlete, Arnold as an actor, and Arnold as an American,” according to the official Netflix site Tudum.

Lesley Chilcott has directed the series, and Allen Hughes, who produced Denzel Washington’s The Book of Eli, is the executive producer. It’s also noteworthy that the 75-year-old will narrate his own story in Arnold. While fans were delighted by the surprise Arnie had for them, he promised more. “I’ll be back…tomorrow…with the trailer…SO STICK AROUND,” the former Mr. Universe wrote in the caption.

Arnold Schwarzenegger fans didn’t expect this

Arnie’s announcement sent fans into a frenzy since no one had a clue, a documentary about Schwarzenegger’s life was in the pipeline. While most things these days get leaked in some capacity online, Schwarzenegger and Netflix kept this under wraps. Fans and even Schwarzenegger’s eldest son, Patrick, expressed their excitement.
