Breon Ansley, who won the Classic Physique division at the Olympia in 2017-18, had been training for months to switch to the 212 division at the 2023 Olympia. However, he changed his mind and decided to stay in the Classic Physique division and try to win his third title. The 2023 Olympia will start on November 2, 2023, in Orlando, Florida.

Ansley has been training hard, eating a strict diet, and doing cardio to prepare for the upcoming Olympia competition. He believes that sticking with the Classic Physique division is the best decision because he’s fully committed, both mentally and emotionally, to winning the title back. The new weight limit for his height is seven pounds higher than the previous limit, which means that he can now build more muscle and improve his physique. He finished fourth overall in the Classic Physique division at the 2022 Olympia.

Ansley needs to lose 16 pounds before the Olympia competition. He currently weighs 203 pounds, and the weight limit for his division is 187 pounds. Ansley gained a lot of muscle when he was training to move to the 212 division, so we’ll see if he can use that muscle to jump back onto the podium against taller athletes like Chris Bumstead, Ramon Rocha Queiroz, and Urs Kalecinski. Ansley’s decision to stay in the Classic Physique division for Mr. Olympia 2023 took many fans by surprise. Even fans are convinced of the return of ‘The Black Swan’ to the Classic Physique division at Mr. Olympia 2023.
