Flex Wheeler’s priceless advice on winning the title

El Guindy, Olympia judge, asked the Sultan of Symmetry what advice he wanted to give to the contenders for the upcoming competition because Chris Bumstead has proven over the years that he is a tough competitor and was going to defend his title for the fifth time. In response to that, Wheeler replied that he said contestants shouldn’t waste time worrying about what others do or wear because it can harm their own well-being. He believes focusing on your own progress is important.

So, it’s best to concentrate on improving yourself. While making a point, he brings up his statement about a legendary boxer. “you know you looked at your approximate the right way love the way you pose it’s just going to be a great matchup I think you know Muhammad Ali versus his greatest opponent only made Muhammad Ali greater when he beat that opponent,” said the survivor of 40 surgeries.

He further advised that “you don’t want to be there where’s unless their opponent like Shawn said it was an Olympia lineup but you did your job you went in and you murdered everybody was on stage that’s what you were supposed to do against a lesser lineup.” in a simple way, he’s saying that everyone should focus on bringing their best game instead of looking out for other people. A person considered a legend is when he fought the strongest competitor. Moving on, Wheeler recently talked about his injury and how he’s been handling the pain.

The legend is under another therapy

The four-time Arnold Classic has proven over the years that with the right mind and dedication, one can achieve anything. However, he updated his fans about his shoulder pain and that he hardly moves his hands, to avoid surgery he’s taking an electrotherapy treatment with mark two gloves.

Despite not winning any Olympia title for himself, with his sheer dedication and unyielding determination made him a legend. Wheeler, who survived over 40 surgeries and leg amputation, still never misses his workout routines. After retiring from the sport, he still maintained his chiseled physique till now.
