Mike O’Hearn is 54 and still looks younger than 30. The youthful Titan has always been a bodybuilding champ with Mr Natural Universe title and many others under his belt. The fitness model has also been featured in more than 400 magazines, pretty obvious because of the way he is built! However, as unlikely as it sounds, even he fears old age.

Mike O’Hearn has a mantra to deal with his fears

O’Hearn said that he realizes that he is still in the phase of “get to” since his body permits training, “Cause I’m not broken down,” he says.  “It’s gonna happen to all of us one day right? Try to enjoy it while you have it”, he added. However, he knows this is not forever and gives a metaphor for the temporary aspect of life and he says one day everyone breaks down due to age. He said this can be an analogy for anything anyone does in life.

Reminiscing about his late friend Rich Piana, O’Hearn asked people to take their lives seriously. He said, “It’s your life, your only life, so take excellence very personally.” He has also advised on how to work out in a way that does not injure anybody.

Being an athlete and bodybuilder he knows that both physical and mental peace are important while working out. He explained that one’s goal should be to ultimately get mental peace. So, O’Hearn narrated along the same lines, “That sets you pull up are better than any kind of workout. When you leash off while you’re working out and get into a fight with the weights.”
