Coleman revolutionized bodybuilding in the late 90s, bringing never-before-seen muscularity to the stage and becoming an eight-time champion. However, in his latest Instagram post, Ronnie Coleman dropped another surprise involving the two GOATs of bodybuilding.

Paying homage to an iconic frame from action cinema history?

After their collaboration at Gold’s Gym surprised fans, bodybuilding icons Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger have more in store for their fans. Earlier, the 2001 Arnold Classic winner uploaded two images to Instagram. While he had recently hinted at another collaboration with Arnie, fans didn’t expect him to drop another post with the 76-year-old.

While this one wasn’t a new collaboration, the images were. “Throwback to the off-the-chain workout I had with @schwarzenegger last month,”?Coleman wrote in the caption. The 59-year-old bodybuilding legend posted two images with the Austrian Oak. In the first image, Coleman and Schwarzenegger recreated the iconic Predator handshake. “You know I had to get in one last Predator Handshake before we departed… Yeah, Buddy!”?wrote Coleman.

The handshake from?Predator (1987) has become arguably the most recognized scene in action cinema history. In the film, Arnie’s character, Dutch, initiates the handshake after meeting Carl Weather’s character, Dylan. The special handshake is a mix between high-fiving and arm wrestling. Besides recreating the iconic image inside a restaurant, the two posed side by side in the second image. The pair enjoyed working out together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger found the perfect gym partner

When the two bodybuilding legends posted about their collaboration, Arnold Schwarzenegger praised the 59-year-old. During his prime, the Austrian Oak trained with some of the best bodybuilders in the world. However, the only person who could push him the hardest in the gym was Franco Columbu. The Italian bodybuilder challenged Schwarzenegger’s strength.

In a video Arnie posted from their collaboration, the seven-time Mr. Olympia compared Coleman to Columbu. The 76-year-old said the eight-time Mr. Olympia was a worthy replacement for his late best friend. He told The King that Columbu was smiling down at them because Arnie had finally found a worthy training partner.
