Greg shared a video talking about the changes in IFBB competitions and showed what the vice president of IFBB said. Tyler Manion, who is the vice president of the IFBB pro league, spoke about the disparity in the height-to-weight ratio. Greg Doucette then took over and gave the example of Chris Bumstead, who is 6?2? tall. The IFBB finally listened to Doucette and the IFBB coach was right. Finally, the IFBB added 7 pounds to the weight class with a lower height than 6 feet to equalize the competition with taller candidates.

According to Greg, this would make a huge difference for Urs Kalecinski and Ramon Dino because they were at a significant disadvantage due to their height, which cannot be controlled like weight. Now they can weigh 227 pounds, which is more weight compared to someone taller. However, to put in more pounds, bodybuilders might use PEDs which can be harmful. So Greg also gives a solution to that.

He advocated for a new category for Classic Physique where people could achieve an aesthetic physique at a lower bodyweight without using PEDs. Doucette mentioned the aspect of starting a new category Physique,or bodybuilders who do not want to use PEDs. He said, ?Why not add in another category? The beach body classic physique division. For guys that don?t want to abuse steroids.??

Doucette has previously talked about PED usage as well and said that he was irked by the fact that, despite sad cases, young fitness enthusiasts have not toned down their steroid usage. Doucette also said, ?When you look at Chris Bumstead sure you admire his physique it?s amazing but how many of us think we can end up looking like Chris Bumstead? Perhaps one in a million at most.?
