The world of bodybuilding is often unpredictable. However, this German bodybuilder has shown how one can bounce back from defeat to get back on the path of success again. Weeks after losing to Chris Bumstead and Ramon Dino at the Mr. Olympia 2023, Urs Kalecinski has made a triumphant return, by winning two consecutive events.
After his Olympia defeat, Kalecinski wasted no time and got back into the competitive arena. Kalecinski’s road to redemption began at the Texas Pro. The victory at Texas Pro was just the beginning. Just days later, the German prodigy maintained his winning streak at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro. This win did not come easy as there was major competition from other formidable contenders.

The Miracle Bear faced competition in the Classic Physique division at the event, from Michael Daboul, who secured second place, and Alexander Westermeier, who came third. Sebastian Theurel and Karol Rogaczewski finished fourth and fifth, respectively, showcasing the bodybuilding talent that was at the show.

A fitness and bodybuilding-dedicated page bis and tris, shared a post to their Instagram account with the caption, “@the.miraclebear wins the Prague Pro #ClassicPhysique title!” Despite the setback at the Olympia, his recent victories earned him praise from the bodybuilding community. During the Olympia he finished third and earned a bronze medal, the competition at the prestigious show wasn’t easy as well.
Similarly, at the 2023 Texas State Pro, he competed against 12 strong bodybuilders. He had the Olympia conditioning, and a super shredded V-tapered shape, which helped him secure his top spot.

Kalecinski added more definition to his physique at the Texas Pro
After pre-judging at the Texas event, judges narrowed down the field to four competitors, Kirhee Cooper, Mehdi Larijani, Eric Wildberger, and Urs Kalecinski, who led the pack. When the final results came in, the Miracle Bear won the show while Mehdi Larijani was the runner-up. Meanwhile, Wildberger placed third, and Cooper finished in fourth place. Kalecinski’s emphatic victory gained praise from bodybuilding greats like four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, Samson Dauda, and Behrooz Tabani’s coach Milos Sarcev.
After winning at two major events, Kalecinski has now qualified for the Olympia 2024. His fans and supporters are excited to see what he will bring to the stage in the upcoming shows.
