One of the biggest bodybuilding shows in all of Asia and the continent’s first contest to earn the IFBB Mr. Olympia qualifier moniker, Sheru Classic, is underway. Four IFBB Pro bodybuilders will earn their ticket to the 2024 Mr. Olympia. Meanwhile, six competitive bodybuilders will earn their IFBB Pro card at the contest. However, the competitors aren’t the only attraction.
The 2024 Sheru Classic is part of the International Health, Sports and Fitness Festival (IHFF). The IHFF is an expo like the Arnold Sports Festival and Olympia Weekend. The expo will feature a plethora of brands and famous bodybuilders. This year, multiple Men’s Physique icons will host meet and greets at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, India, during the expo.
The official Sheru Classic Instagram handle announced that reigning Men’s Physique Olympia champion Ryan Terry will be present at the IHFF expo hall from 7th to 9th June. Ryan Terry rose to prominence, winning the Men’s Physique Olympia title last year after several failed attempts where he struggled to crack the top five in his division.

Similarly, Men’s Physique Olympian Bhuwan Chauhan also expressed his excitement for the event.

“See you guys in Delhi 🇮🇳 at @ihff_expo at the @vivafitnessgo pavilion on 7th, 8th, and 9th June. Make sure to come by the booth and train with us,” wrote Chauhan. The Men’s Physique Olympia competitor is especially popular in the country because he was born in New Delhi, India. Besides these three icons, other famous bodybuilding and fitness personalities will also attend the Sheru Classic.
What makes the Sheru Classic special?
Started by retired professional bodybuilder Sheru Aangrish, the Sheru Classic is arguably the most prestigious contest in India. Its prestige began attracting international bodybuilding talent after it became a Mr. Olympia qualifier. The show also allowed India’s best bodybuilders to compete against an international roster to earn their IFBB Pro cards.

Several bodybuilding legends such as Kai Greene, Phil Heath, Kevin Levrone, Jeremy Buednia, and others have attended the Sheru Classic. Last year, the contest made waves across the bodybuilding world when 2x Arnold Classic Physique champion and Classic Physique Olympia, Terrance Ruffin, competed and won in his division.
A reining Olympia champion and other bodybuilding competitors holding meet and greet sessions at Sheru Classic 2024 will continue to add to his prestige as a premier IFBB Pro show in Asia.
