Over the years, Hafthor Bjornsson has changed his stature, and with that, has changed his diet. He used to be a 452 lbs beast at his peak in the World Strongman show, but later the Icelandic powerlifter transformed to 152 kg when he defeated Eddie Hall in 2018. However, Bjornsson shifted focus to boxing for a while, thus changing his workout regime and diet.
Over a year ago, the 2018 World’s Strongest Man winner sat for an interview where he talked about his food habits and how he eats the breakfast of the champions. Evidently, The Mountain cut down a lot of calories from his diet in order to do a successful face-off with Tyson Fury.

While chatting with Men’s Health in an interview, the bodybuilder shared the most important part of his regime, the diet. He frequently mentioned how adapting to boxing has changed his food habits. His meals grew more specific with the change in sport. He exclaimed, “In the mornings, I have eight ounces of beef tenderloin, so more of a leaner meat. And then I’ll have two whole eggs, 110 grams of oatmeal, 150 grams of berries, one glass of orange juice.”
