Method Man appeared on the Men’s Health YouTube channel and discussed various facets of his life. In the process, he revealed the secret of his fitness at 52.

Clifford Smith Jr., a popular member of the Wu-Tang Clan, hits the gym and lifts weights to be in the best of his physique. His Instagram feed often reflects his rigorous training sessions. And lately, Men’s Health interviewed the American rapper, where he confessed his morning rituals.

I started my journey working out at 4:00 a.m. in the morning; I would go to the gym,” he revealed while witnessing some of his gym pictures in the interview. According to him, the 4:00 a.m. workout routine started three months ago, and he stated discipline is the key to such consistent early morning workout sessions. “This had went on for like three months straight. But what I attribute it to is strong discipline and mental capacity to know what I want, and to fight for it every day,” he said.

Speaking about his goals, the rapper said he is content with his accomplishment; however, he would push himself to become the “most fit grandpa.” Method Man is not the first celebrity to ace morning workouts. Mark Wahlberg commands a great following in the fitness community for his early morning rituals.

The Ted icon, however, ensures to get eight hours of sleep despite waking up early in the morning. His ripped physique in the fifties is often envied by his followers, and the secret lies in his daily dose of workout pills.
