In a recent interview with notable YouTuber Chris Williamson, the IFBB pro got candid and chatted about his plans ahead. Hinting at taking a break from bodybuilding, Bumstead revealed he is willing to try his hand at different sports now.?

As per the interview, the 28-year-old revealed that after finishing his career, he wants to take up CrossFit. Explaining the matter, Bumstead emphasized his childhood as being very athletic. ?it?s really what got me into bodybuilding. I just loved sports,? the pro shared. He played six sports as a youngster and wished to get back that ?form of feeling.??
Satisfied with his accomplishments in the domain, Bumstead now intends to challenge his body in a new way because he says, ?I?m obviously not going to be hitting any PRs in the gym, or being heavier than I?ve ever been than I?m in my peak bodybuilding career.? Therefore, the American athlete is on his quest to find a new goal in his life.?
Interestingly, Bumstead referred to his new escapade as a ?dabble? but in the form of athletic training, which may be CrossFit for now. However, the conversation took a riveting turn after they got to talking about other sports.?

Moments later, it was brought up that Bumstead could perform basketball dunks, a pretty demanding skill, only a year ago. However, the host, Chris, claimed that a 30-minute game of basketball won?t be good for Bumstead?s knees.?

Agreeing to that, the star athlete shared that he actually couldn?t walk for a week after playing basketball for an hour, a few weeks ago. Thus, emphasizing the restrictiveness of the sport, the host added that bodybuilders have to be quite mindful of the activities they shall be doing, even when out of competing.
