Continuing his tradition of having ask-me-anything sessions with his fans, O’Hearn held a similar session the other day on his Instagram stories. His followers jumped at the chance of the opportunity to ask questions to O’Hearn. While the questions ranged from the best way to start the gym and even O’Hearn’s favorite car, one fan wanted to know what the bodybuilder would prefer in terms of pro wrestling.
A curious fan asked “AEW or WWE?”. To this interesting question, O’Hearn’s response was something different. He replied with a GIF that read “UFC Fight Pass” showcasing his preference for the elite MMA promotion. Despite hinting at the fact that he prefers UFC over WWE or AEW, the seven-time Fitness Model of the Year has a history with the WWE, the mammoth pro wrestling promotion.

Mike O’Hearn’s almost became a WWE wrestler
In a YouTube short, O’Hearn had talked about how he had almost started walking down the path of becoming a pro wrestler. “Uh, in 92, which is funny because it was the same year Billy signed. Shane McMahon came out and had dinner with me…” he said in a podcast. The bodybuilder was apparently roped into WWE as the Gladiator character. However, the plan never worked out.

O’Hearn also got another chance to become a WWE wrestler. He explained, “Years later, WCW and battle dome team up and I get to get in the ring with those guys and have some fun. I was working in something so similar that I couldn’t do both.” It seems like the past has nothing to do with O’Hearn and his choices. Even after having a close association with WWE, he prefers the UFC. What do you think about this? Which promotion do you prefer? Let us know in the comments below.
