Arnold Schwarzenegger had defeated all odds to become the God of bodybuilding but has been humbled by life’s inescapable reality, aging. The Austrian Oak, who enchanted the masses with his golden ripped physique, is now succumbing to the depleting nature of aging. All his glorious muscles are gone, leaving the bodybuilding legend delusional. 

Now, Arnie’s eldest son resonates with his father’s pain as the 30-year-old is witnessing aging-related changes in his body. Revealing the same, Patrick Schwarzenegger recently made a sad confession to his X followers.

Arnold Schwarzenegger sculpted his body with pain and effort at the gym. His bodybuilding prime physique is a matter of envy and inspiration to the world. But all that is in the past because Arnie isn’t comfortable anymore striking his iconic bodybuilding poses in front of everyone. 

I’m not going to take off my T-shirt because my abs are not quite anymore what they were,” Schwarzenegger revealed in his Netflix docuseries. Now, the effects of aging are dawning upon the eldest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Midnight Sun actor recently celebrated his 30th birthday and now complains about the ill side effects of entering his thirties.

Taking to his X account, Patrick Schwarzenegger confirmed, “The body is truly amazing. I swear I turn 30 and white hairs pop up everywhere. Nose hairs come. Knee aches. Etc.” Earlier, the MOSH co-founder expressed shock after noting greys in his beard. Like his father, Patrick Schwarzenegger would need some time to accept the sad reality of life that bears no exception.

How Arnold Schwarzenegger overcame his old-age body dysmorphia

Despite being the most fit 76-year-old, Arnie couldn’t accept how aging transformed his ripped body into a wrinkled frame. “I never ever thought about that when I was like 30 years old, or 40 years old, that this is going to happen. That at one point, we are going to look at this body…it still looks better than the majority of bodies, but I mean…It just sucks,” Schwarzenegger confessed on the Howard Stern Show.

Now, I don’t even look at it anymore that way. Now I’m just fighting to hold on,” Arnie revealed how he overcame his struggle with body dysmorphia over the years. Instead, the Terminator Icon is more focused on how his existence could bring purpose to other’s lives.
