Bodybuilding legend Lee Priest, who clinched the Mr. Australia title three times in a row, is regarded as having one of the biggest arms in the entire sphere. Though he retired from the professional realm years ago, his passion for fitness has not altered.  Even at 51, he uses his social media platform, not only to show off his lifestyle but also to share his extensive knowledge of bodybuilding with his followers. Recently the veteran took to Instagram to share tips and tricks on the perfect upper arm workout.

Lee Priest shares the right way to do bicep curls

Lee Priest recently took to his official Instagram account, @leepriestofficial72, and shared a video where he was seen talking about the correct technique of pulling off a bicep curl. Explaining that bending the upper body forward can hamper the workout, he recommended his followers to cheat by leaning back, thereby putting stress on the bicep muscle.

He said, “Don’t cheat, just bring it up and squeeze. Doing this doesn’t squeeze your bicep anymore, just works your delts and also none of this sh*t where you’re doing, throwing it.” Adding that cheating the right way is the key, he mentioned, “Just use proper form. And if you’re going to cheat, just cheat a little bit to add stress to it, not take away.”

However, this is not the first time that veteran has tried his hand at helping his followers attain the perfect physique. He once even shared why it is extremely important to work out your hamstring and even gave tips on how to do it.

Lee Priest advising the hamstrings

Lee Priest once shared a video on his Instagram account giving tips about working on the hamstrings. He highlighted the fact that one must not go very heavy while working on that partcular area. Using heavy weights often leads to injuries. It is rather more effective to focus on the tension of the muscle than the weights.

Pointing out the different variations of the hamstring exercises, he stated how some people only go halfway through or use props like boxes or benches. He said that if somebody is using a prop, they should make the most out of it and stretch as much as they can. He further iterated how doing otherwise has no point. With word coming from the legend himself, how can one not follow it, right?
