In the video, the IFBB pro is posing in front of the judges with utmost care and diligence while ‘Gimme the Prize’ by Queen is played in the background. He wrote about his experience in the captions and said, “I was guest posing in the UK before my professional debut which would take place later that year at the 1990 Night of Champions.” So by this time, Dorian was already a British Champion and receiving his pro card.

However, Yates did receive mixed judgment and wrote about it saying, “Some opinions were positive, some not so much but ultimately, none of that matters.” Dorian showed how people’s opinions differ and do not matter and he continued, “The only thing that matters, is what YOU believe!

Rob Lipsett shared a snippet where The Shadow is speaking about the training method that helped him to build the mass monster physique. Dorian Yates implemented the method of lifting heavyweights with a High-Intensity Training strategy and recovery intervals. The bodybuilder denied the role of heavyweights and lifting high volumes to possess a shredded figure like him. “If the volume was the key factor in stimulating muscle growth, wouldn’t we continually increase our amount of exercise?” he questioned while talking about his training technique.

Yates also talked about targeted training, “But it is not what it takes, it takes intense targeted training and proper recovery,” he emphasized, revealing the secret to his Mr. Olympia training.
