While bodybuilder turned Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger has earned immaculate recognition in the film industry, his experiences range from good to bad. One of his unpleasant episodes was while shooting for the 1987 film, Predator. The star had just gotten accustomed to being an A-lister and was also newly married to journalist Maria Shriver before the shoots began.
Therefore, a bad idea ruined their honeymoon, but that was not all for his irksome encounter. Arnie and his crew were predisposed to quite many injuries often, due to the risky nature of the scenes, per an interview.

The 75-year-old legend once appeared in a decade-old resurfaced interview, talking about the happenings of the $98.3 million movie Predator. He was asked about the injuries he had suffered while shooting for the film. Therefore, Arnie revealed that there were always minor injuries, like burns and dehydration.
“oh we had the injuries like burns and stuff like that, I got dehydrated one time, at one point and that was in bed for four or five days and you know I had intravenous feeding and those are the kind of things that will creep up after you knew it will happen throughout you know,” he shared. Basically, the actor signaled that getting injured was a part of the job for the movie.
Arnie suffered from dehydration and other health conditions. Moreover, he was not the only one constantly getting injured or affected by the unpleasant scenario. In hindsight, it is not difficult to imagine if the lead actor himself was facing such issues, what must have the crew dealt with. “there were a lot of injuries there was no one of the stuntmen that came home without injuries,” the 6’2 actor added. Besides the injuries, Arnie faced another repercussion of the experience. His honeymoon with Maria turned out to be a terrible night because of similar reasons.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s not-so-perfect honeymoon
After the star couple married in 1986, they wanted to spend their honeymoon together. But since Arnold was occupied with his shoots, the couple decided to go on a vacation at the shoot’s location itself. Thus, they set off to Mismaloya, a densely forested region on the western coast of Mexico.
Given the movie’s theme, it was an ideal setting, however, not for a perfect honeymoon though. “The first night, Maria and I were checked into a hotel room, and she wanted to take a shower,” The Austrian Oak revealed in an interview. Hence, when Maria opened the curtains, the bathtub was filled with frogs, jumping around, which terrified her.
