Mr. Olympia?2023 was one of the most exciting and prestigious shows in the events of?the bodybuilding?world. This year?s championship was thrilling and kept the audience on the edge of their seats. The contest just wrapped up and the entire community is pumped up with the new winners of Derek Lunsford and Chris Bumstead winning this year. The most attention is being gained by the Men?s Open division where Lunsford defeated Hadi Choopan. Some are saying Choopan deserved to win while others are happy with Lunsford?s win.

However,?Jay Cutler?had a different opinion on all the contestants and he did not look very satisfied. The 4-time Mr Olympia winner discussed the issue on his podcast Cutler Cast with Milos Sarcev and Matt.

Jay Cutler does not think anyone nailed it

While speaking about the competition, Cutler did not look satisfied with the performances of the bodybuilders and Milos Sarcev agreed. Cutler said that he was watching from his room and he gave his own opinion. He took the names of Nick Walker, Samson Dauda, Derek Lunsford, and Hadi Choopan and complimented all of them.

However, he criticized them as well and said, ?I thought it was uh, no one nailed it, no one nailed it 100% we?ll talk about that uh but we have a new champ Derek which we all talked about the possibility.? He started the podcast by saying, ?Honestly because there was no one slam dunk nailed it I felt this show could?ve rolled three or four perspectives.?

So according to Cutler, anyone could have been the winner this time. Sarcev also pointed out that the 9 judges compared the top three four times in pre-judging and again four times in the finals so eight times. This proves that the judgment was not rushed at all. Jay Cutler previously also said why the bodybuilders could have done better.

Jay Cutler reveals why the bodybuilding champions were not at their best

The?icon shared his opinion on the podcast?about genius Derek Lunsford winning the title. However, Cutler believes that all the bodybuilders could have done better. He went on to say that he would not go over 3 or 4 meals before hitting the stage. However, the competitors did not follow it this year. He said,??I think having six meals, seven meals, eight whatever it is, I guarantee all these guys are on six for sure.??

He added, ?Because most people aren?t, they?re not depleting during this phase like the last day. You?re going to get some fluid retention, no matter what, with that much carbs, right?
