IFBB pro Marc Lobliner has some insights on sports other than bodybuilding. While the Lobliner is a veteran bodybuilder, he has worked with young athletes from other sports as a strength and conditioning coach. Earlier, the bodybuilder revealed the reality of ste***d use in these sports other than bodybuilding. He used the NFL as a prime example.

Bodybuilding and those who pursue it competitively get a bad rap as performance-enhancing dr*gs users. Yet Lobliner explained that the situation is no better in football or other sports. The 43-year-old said the entire issue of PED use in the NFL remains suppressed. Despite having testing protocols in place, Lobliner claimed footballers do not shy away from performance boosters.

The first thing Marc Lobliner said was how you won’t hear anyone in the NFL “talk about doping.” Serious cases of doping or failing tests lead to individual punishments. However, the roots lie much deeper. Neither the NFL, teams, players, or fans discuss the possibility that ste***d use is far more widespread. So, the bodybuilding veteran posed a rhetorical question to his viewers.

“Are you telling me that 320-pound lineman, who run a 4.9 (sec) 40-yard dash are natural?” Lobliner asked his followers in his post. “You’re telling me that we’ve come that far in genetics and training and diet?” added the bodybuilding influencer. Lobliner admitted that science has helped advance every aspect of the sport. Yet, it’s still absurd to think every NFL athlete is natural.

“To think that the NFL is all clean, you’re out of your mind,” said the Tiger Fitness Chief Marketing Officer. The bodybuilding veteran didn’t say that every athlete on a football field has used PEDs. However, he is certain that many are. Yet, you might be wondering why this would be the case.

The bodybuilding veteran gave his reasoning

Lobliner also said that there is a reason behind athletes using performance-enhancing dr*gs. The bodybuilding enthusiast explained that the monetary incentive in the NFL is far too high for the athletes not to take “some health risks.” The 43-year-old put the risk-to-reward ratio in perspective.

“You’re not talking about a $50,000 year job. You’re talking about $10 million a year,” said the entrepreneur. Lobliner explained that with such high salaries and additional sponsorships, athletes often feel the need to go the extra mile, even if it harms their health.

The bodybuilding veteran also said that doing it under a doctor eliminates some of the risks. Hence, PED usage has been something everyone willingly overlooks. Do you agree? Write your thoughts in the comments.
