Patrick Schwarzenegger took to social media to share a post by Variety. In the post, Variety shared that the 30-year-old The Terminal List actor would star in a key role and an upcoming FX documentary. While the post didn’t mention if the project would be a show or a film, Schwarzenegger expressed his excitement about starring in a project on late NFL star Aaron Hernandez.

Patrick Schwarzenegger is stoked for more than one reason
Patrick Schwarzenegger shared the exciting news after impressing fans with his short stint on Amazon Prime’s Gev V. The bodybuilding legend’s son revealed he will star in the upcoming FX project, American Sport Sotry. The Midnight Sun star will portray former New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow. “IM PUMPED,” wrote Patrick Schwarzenegger earlier as he announced the news on social media.

The project will focus on the life, career, and downfall of late NFL star Aaron Hernandez. “This story is so wild. Aaron Hernandez had a wild life and career,” the 30-year-old wrote in the caption of his post. Aaron Hernandez was a promising Tight End who played for the New England Patriots until he was arrested on murder charges in 2013. In 2017, the footballer was found dead in his cell.
Patrick Schwarzenegger had another reason to be happy about the project. “I’m a massive football fan and I only knew a sliver of the full story… it’s crazy!” the actor wrote. Arnie’s eldest son revealed he felt honored to be part of the project. “Can’t wait to bring this story to life,” wrote Schwarzenegger. With the SAG-AFTRA strike coming to an end, Schwarzenegger can get to work.

The 30-year-old’s reaction to the SAG-AFTRA strike
The SAG-AFTRA strike that persisted for months and practically brought Hollywood to a standstill ended on November 9. Actors’ union president Fran Drescher announced that the strike achieved its objective of securing better opportunities for those on and off the screen. “We did it!!!! The Billion+ USD Deal! 3X the last contract!” announced Drescher.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who followed the development from day one, was equally excited. The actor shared Drecher’s announcement on social media. “LET’S GO,” wrote Schwarzenegger while sharing the post on social media. Now, the actor can go back to doing what he loves and working on projects like the American Sports Story.
