The?bodybuilding?and fitness communities have recently lost young and talented athletes. In the past few months, the deaths of Jo Lindner, Neil Curry, and Justin Vicky?have devastated the communities. Veteran athletes, influencers, and experts have raised the alarm bells, telling people to stay away from harmful practices in the name of building a better physique. Drawing attention to 21-year-old Sam Sulek’s drastic transformation is one example. Yet, some bodybuilders continue to pursue extreme methods to gain more muscle. And another bodybuilder, Illia Golem, is among those on a never-ending quest to gain muscle.?

The mass monster and bodybuilding influencer has taken his physique to the extreme and shows no signs of slowing down. However,?fitness?fans don’t have kind words for the monstrous bodybuilder.

Generation Iron posted about Golem’s insane diet on their Instagram page. The post shows the bodybuilder hitting the front double biceps pose. Below the image, some text revealed that the bodybuilder included 108 pieces of sushi in his diet. However, that’s not the end of his extreme ways. The 5% Nutrition-sponsored athlete also has seven meals a day.

Besides eating 108 pieces of sushi, Illia Golem eats 2.6 kg, or 5.7 lbs, of red meat each day.?Golem said he wanted to be like his Hollywood idols, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. However, with a 61-inch chest and 25-inch biceps, the bodybuilder is closer to being a mass monster. After seeing the post, the fitness community passed harsh judgment on Golem.

The fitness community expressed concern about his health

Many fitness and bodybuilding enthusiasts didn’t find Illia Golem’s extreme ways impressive. Most people left comments concerned with his heart health.?“God bless his heart,”?wrote one Instagram user. One user wrote a harsh message.?“Next post will be about him dying from a heart attack,”?he wrote. Meanwhile, another referenced the tragic demise of Golem’s sponsor’s founder.

“Team 5% is a death sentence. I wish him well,”?wrote the commenter. The comment referenced the untimely death of Rich Piana at 46 in 2017. Piana had founded 5% Nutrition.?“Bodybuilders had physiques built where people would gaze in awe. Today’s drug-instilled subjects are just killing themselves,”?wrote another bodybuilding enthusiast. One fan responded to the comment.?“It?s sad seeing guys die in their 30s,”?said another.
