The athlete majestically back-squatted 495 pounds of weight for 23 repetitions using barbells, per a 1992 video. Hence, a symbol of true spirit, a video resurfaced on Instagram, displaying Platz in his element while he narrated an inspiring story.
The prime motive was to elucidate the importance of taking risks to drive success. Therefore, he instanced with the story of a “shy” guy, who could never ask a girl to dance with him.

He spoke of a shy person who came up to him and admitted that because of his shyness, he could never ask a girl he liked, to dance with him.

“I was always very shy. When I was 15 years old I went to a dance, I always wanted to ask that girl to dance. He said I was ready to in the next song…the next song came on, I never…I didn’t ask to dance, I was still too shy,” the veteran told. Eventually, the third song came up, “the dance was over, I never asked the girl to dance.”
Thus, sharing the real deal behind the story, Platz claimed that it was not actually about the dance, rather it was about taking the risk and growing. “It’s really about getting to the next stage,” the pro stated. He urged others to “put the risk” because risk is key to success. Moreover, the caption of the post reiterated the idea with a reflective note.
