Cohen further added that while you might make your muscles stronger by pulling out traditional squats, the tendons and ligaments around the knee joint will not be getting the best stimulus during the exercise. Covering full reps will help in building tissue strength and reduce the risks of injury. The powerlifter had once confessed that powerlifting consumed her and that is what led her to the pursuit of a newer challenge. Despite all the challenges and training, her first boxing match got canceled because of an issue.
