Augustine Ume-Ezeoke compliments Kobe Bryant’s work ethic

In one of the recent videos posted by the official Twitter handle of the Bovada Casino, the superstar coach Augustine Ume-Ezeoke was seen discussing what he liked the best about the late basketball player Koby Bryant. He was asked, “Tell me something, Koby Bryant’s injury when he hurt his Achilles years ago, and his workout to get back fascinated me. As a guy who works with athletes, did you share a similar sentiment?”

To this, the fitness trainer highlighted how Bryant had a work ethic that beat the rest of them in the spectrum and there simply was no comparison. According to Augustine Ume-Ezeoke, Bryant had it all sorted before delving into it. He always opted for the best – be it a physical therapist or a strength and conditioning coach.

Another great thing that the coach really admired about the late player is that, if he had an appointment, no matter what time it was to be set, he would never miss it. He adds, “But I think what separates Kobe and his work ethic. He gets up and still shows up, no matter what time.” Well, Bryant’s work ethic was not the only thing that gave him the tag of the most popular player, it was also his dedication to stay fit for all his games.

Kobe Bryant’s unique method of training

Kobe Bryant became one of the very few players who got the golden opportunity to be drafted into the NBA right after he got out of high school. This milestone was achieved through years of unwavering passion for basketball and also with the help of the fitness regime he followed. He had a rather unique way to stay fit during his off-seasons.

The method was widely regarded as the 666 workouts. The name was derived from the late athlete as he trained 6 days a week, 6 hours a day, and 6 months a year. The split six hours were further divided into all the necessary activities for his body – 2 hours of practicing basketball, 2 hours of weightlifting, and finally the rest for track work.
