Men’s Physique bodybuilder Aundre Benson is the latest addition to the stacked 2024 Mr. Olympia line-up. The US Navy vet booked his spot after winning the 2024 IFBB Pro League Los Angeles Grand Prix. While Benson didn’t make it to the Olympia last year, he has qualified this year with plenty of time to prepare.

Benson’s win didn’t come easy. While he won the Men’s Physique title with a score of 7, Philippe Degila from France pushed the champion. Degila earned a second-place finish, scoring 8, and didn’t earn a ticket to the upcoming Mr. Olympia. However, the rest of the field was far behind the top two.

Jeremy Coleman secured third place but fell far behind on the scorecards with 16. The bodybuilder had been training hard for the contest and was confident in his physique and posing going in. Day in, day out, putting in the work no matter how tough it gets. The time for excuses is over. It’s time to showcase my art, aiming for perfection and that perfect score, Benson wrote a day before the Mr. Olympia qualifier.

The United States Navy veteran served for seven years before choosing competitive bodybuilding as a career. Interestingly, the 2024 Mr. Olympia qualified Men’s Physique pro is also a certified yoga instructor. However, the certified yoga instructor has his work cut out for him because the Men’s Physique line-up is looking stacked.

A line-up of champions at the 2024 Mr. Olympia

While more bodybuilders will join the Men’s Physique line-up at the upcoming Mr. Olympia, multiple former champions will compete this year. Defending champion Ryan Terry, two-time champion Brandon Hendrickson, and former champion Erin Banks are all competing. Four-time champion Jeremy Buendia will also compete.

While Buendia recently tore his Achilles tendonhe’s still training his upper body and has no plans of pulling out. So, the former US Navy vet will have to bring his best physique on stage to compete with a line-up of Men Physique Olympia champions. Fortunately, the LA Grand Prix winner has over five months to give it his all in the gym before the 2024 Mr. Olympia.

So Aundre Benson doesn’t have much time to celebrate his victory before going back to the grind. The bodybuilder hasn’t announced if he’s planning to compete again before the Olympia. How much success do you think Benson will find at the 2024 Mr. Olympia? Tell us in the comments.
