According to Busta Rhymes in the video with Men’s Health, it was the wrath of deteriorating health that served as a wake-up call. The rapper’s journey towards a healthier lifestyle was not just about shedding pounds; it was also about claiming his vitality back and embracing the kind of life he wanted to lead. Admitting his worst shape, Rhymes stated, “I was in horrible shape in 2018 and 19…I was about 340 pounds, and then I was having all kinds of ailments happen.”

After working hard for around two years to shed the extra weight, the $20 million worth rapper admits, “I do everything that I can to keep it off… Right now, I’m 255. So I will stay within the 10 to 15-pound range of what my best shape is.” He also mentioned that, based on his goal at the moment, his trainer guides him and provides either a muscle-building diet or a diet to lean down further.

Under the guidance of fitness professionals, Cho had to go through a fitness journey to make himself fit for the role. While answering a fan question during a Q&A, he revealed that he indulged in strength training and martial arts to get fit.

Reacting to this, Cho replied, “You know, you go in the gym, you do what they tell you, and I was doing a lot of martial arts training at the time, and you try and lay off the aforementioned White Castle during that training period. It was brief, but it was a glorious, glorious two minutes where I looked like that.”
