Bumstead, who is now at 5% body fat, has increased the amount of sodium in his diet just weeks out of Mr. Olympia. According to him, he feels full. However, he feels physically empty. CBum even revealed that at the start of the workout when Calvin started filming him, he was doing reps with lightning-fast speed. However, as he moved forward with the exercise, Bumstead started feeling tired.

He spoke about the reason why this happens and said, ?I?m so tired, my body; my heart rate drops down to like 55, 60 and it?s just so hard to get it up, to get my energy going. So fu** picking up weights right now is just like. Part of the battle is just waking myself up to get ready for a heavy set like each fu** 10 lb increment feels like its getting 40lbs heavier.?

He also advises other bodybuilders from his own experience that this time of exhaustion is where the mental game begins. According to CBum, people start assuming that they are weaker since it is the last lap of the preparation for the competition. So they might decide to cut back their weight and do more volume. Finally, this is exactly what makes bodybuilders lose their size. According to Bumstead, this is the ultimate battle where the bodybuilders have to keep on lifting heavy weights, even if they feel tired. Heavier weights help keep the muscle mass and will increase the muscular level rather than cut it down. Earlier, Bumstead had shared some updates on the upcoming Mr. Olympia with his fans.?
